I've just found a great video about telling the time in English. I know how hard is it for pupils to tell the time in a proper way, especially when they're only 7 or 8 years old.
In this video, we can see how to tell the time in every 5 minutes lapse. Fortunately for them, for the exam that will be held on Thursday, these are the times that they will need to demonstrate:
( ) O'CLOCK
A QUARTER PAST ( )
HALF-PAST ( )
A QUARTER TO ( )
No matter if the book is only teaching them how to say "O'CLOCK" times: they will have to show that they know those sentences in depth. In addition to this, it will be great if they learn how to say other different structures apart from "the quarter" ones.
